The FCDO guidance for full British citizen passport holders states that visa-exempt entry will not cover conferences, meetings or other business activities.

Visa-exempt tourism entry is normally limited to two entries per calendar year. Travellers who have already used the scheme twice that year may need a visa before travelling.

Anyone who entered before 15 September 2026 will usually retain the period granted on arrival. For longer stays, obtain the appropriate visa before travel or apply for an extension through Thai immigration if eligible.
