The FCDO guidance for full British citizen passport holders states that visa-exempt tourist stays will be limited to 30 days for entries from 15 September 2026.

For a longer stay, obtain the appropriate visa before travelling or, if eligible, apply for an extension through Thai immigration authorities before your permission expires.

If you entered before 15 September 2026, you will usually be allowed to stay for the period granted when you arrived.
