Saudi Arabia introduces multiple-entry electronic travel authorisation
British citizen passport holders can apply online for a Saudi electronic travel authorisation (ETA), valid for 730 days with multiple entries and a maximum total stay of 180 days. It covers tourism, business, study, medical treatment and Umrah outside the Hajj season.

Apply for the ETA online before travelling. The 180-day stay allowance is cumulative across the full 730-day validity period, not per visit.
The ETA does not include health insurance. Travellers going for Hajj must obtain a separate Hajj visa.
Visas issued before the ETA was introduced remain valid under their original conditions and validity dates.
