Canada introduces Ebola screening and 21-day quarantine for arrivals from affected countries
Travellers who have been in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda or South Sudan in the previous 21 days face a health assessment on arrival in Canada. Those without symptoms must quarantine for 21 days; those with symptoms will be isolated in hospital.

The temporary measures apply to Canadian citizens, permanent residents and foreign nationals entering Canada after visiting any of the three affected countries in the previous 21 days.
Travellers without symptoms must quarantine for 21 days. An appropriate location will be provided if they do not have somewhere to quarantine safely. Travellers with symptoms will be isolated at a hospital for further assessment.
